This web site provides a gateway to access data and information about the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe's Water Quality (WQ) and Physical Habitat/ Bioassessment monitoring programs, data, and related activities.
A system of sensors with data logging/ telemetry equipment is an integral part of the monitoring program that will be provided by real-time data in the near future. This will provide a continuous picture of the health or "pulse" of the lower Truckee River and the Pyramid Lake basin. These data include critical conditions for aquatic organisms --such as river flow, temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen. Links to documents, maps, photographs, GIS data and a networking web site for specific information can be found on each monitoring site page.
This site contains several ways to view data. To see current conditions and static plots, click on the map at right or on “Monitoring” in the main menu. An interactive Google Map will appear and you can select a specific monitoring site. We hope you find the information presented here informative and useful.
